Water/water heat exchanger in bakery and confectionary industry

During the production of all kinds of confectionery but also bread, temperature changes are often required, such as cooling and heating of all kinds of different liquids. Air Solutions Holland helps the industry to realize these kind of process steps with a number of different types of water-water heat exchangers:

  • Immersion type heat exchangers mounted in a bath or tank to minimize heat transfer losses.
  • Tube and shell heat exchanger, external but very compact horizontally or vertically mounted
  • Plate heat exchanger, externally mounted but still very flexible, easy to clean and easily achievable capacity expansion

All different heat exchangers are built modularly, but are customer specific designed/assembled. The desired power, fluid temperature ranges, pressure drop and chemical resistance are the main design input data.

Air Solutions Holland supplies heat exchangers in various material choices for the bakery and confectionary industry, among others:

To meet all hygiene standards Air Solutions Holland supplies stainless steel or even titanium heat exchangers for the bakery and confectionery industry. These are ideal for temperature treatment of sugar solutions, gelatine or crust-forming liquids.
