Hot and Cold Air
Waste Processing Industry

Hot and cool air when processing waste

During the processing of waste, it is often desirable or even necessary that process air is cooled or heated. Air Solutions Holland therefore provides tailor-made solutions for the waste processing industry. With our air handling units we can carry out and/or combine any desired air process step, for example:

- Filtration

- Cooling

- Heating

- Dehumidification

- Humidification

- Energy recovery

- Odour neutralisation

Already during the design phase of our air handling units we take the environment into account, as the waste processing industry in turn takes specific input data with it. This can be harmful fine dust when processing household waste or RDF, but also harmful fumes and gases in the processing of manure and digestate. Air Solutions Holland therefore makes a customer specific plan to heat and/or cool air, this can be done directly with natural gas, freon, air or water, but also indirect heating is possible.

INDIRECT HEATING HEAT RECOVERY HEAT EXCHANGERS

We also have extensive experience in the field of ATEX if potentially explosive substances need to be processed. Our air handling units can be built horizontally or vertically and air volumes vary from 2.000 to 200.000 m3/h depending on the application. It is not without reason that we can proudly state that we can offer a suitable solution for every customer specific requirement in the waste processing industry.

Depending on the application, industry, desired execution and available space, we design the most optimal/efficient installation. In the waste processing industry, the choice of materials for the various components is often an issue. The plating on the inside as well as on the outside of the air handling unit can be executed in:

- Galvanized steel

- Steel coated on desired RAL colour

- Aluminium

- Stainless steel - AISI 304

- Stainless steel - AISI 316

Our air handling units are designed and built according to the latest ErP guidelines, providing the most energy friendly solution available. Units can be supplied in different material choices, but also different insulation thicknesses, even completely thermal bridge free are among the options.

By designing the air handling units in this way as customer specific as possible, many Air Solutions air handling units qualify for the EIA subsidy scheme of the Dutch government. They want to stimulate entrepreneurs with fiscal investment schemes to invest in sustainable energy and energy saving techniques. The Energy Investment Allowance (EIA) offers an advantage when purchasing energy-efficient equipment. All investments that qualify for a tax benefit are on the Energy List that our government publishes annually.
