Clean air in the pharmaceutical industry

During the manufacturing of many pharmaceutical products, gases and vapours quickly spread around a process line. Fine dust and aerosols (very small liquid droplets or solid particles floating in the air) can contaminate the surrounding air. In pharmaceutical production areas, source extraction and ventilation can be used to reduce the concentration of these types of contaminants.
