Clean air in bakeries and the confectionery industry
In bakeries and in the confectionery industry, many dusty products are used, such as baker's flour, starch, cocoa powder, gelatine, sugar, etc. In many production areas large quantities of these types of products are processed into their final product. However, this means that fine dust will contaminate these areas. In bakeries and also in the confectionery industry it is therefore desirable to reduce the concentration of these types of contaminants by means of source extraction and ventilation. With source extraction, gases, vapours, fine dust and aerosols can be removed as close to the source as possible. Air Solutions Holland has a wide range of source extraction solutions, for more information click here.
Extracting dust at the source is important, but subsequently it is often desirable to purify the air again. In this way, the air can be reused and heating energy is saved in winter. Air Solutions Holland has a number of air filtration solutions in house to minimize dust concentration in your plant, such as static filters, cartridge filters and bag house filters.
In addition to dust problems, odour components are often released during the production of confectionery. To prevent possible emission problems Air Solutions Holland has air scrubbers in its delivery program, which can neutralize the odorous components from airflows.
