Static filter in the meat processing and dairy industry
In the meat processing and dairy industry, dust is removed from production areas by means of recirculation and ventilation systems. A static filter ensures that air and dust are then effectively separated from each other. The dust ends up in the filter and, depending on the type of filter, is either periodically replaced or blown clean using compressed air. Air Solutions offers solutions that are mounted in the production area itself, in an air duct or a filter plenum. The most important variables are accessibility, dimensions, filter class, filter frame and the housing / cladding. A static filter can be built up with several different filter steps one after the other. The best choice often depends on several factors: where dust is released, which dust/vapours need to be captured and how much space is available.
Air solutions filters are available in various designs and classes, from panel filters to bag filters to HEPA absolute filters or active carbon filter cylinders to remove odours. Filter frames are available in cardboard, plastic, galvanised steel, steel coated or stainless steel (304 and 316L). The filters can then be mounted in a filter frame, filter box (single wall or insulated), air handling unit or mobile unit. Different materials can also be used for the casing. In order to be able to easily maintain/replace the filters, the cabinets are fitted with an access hatch or door.
