Energy recovery in waste processing industry
Air Solutions Holland designs and builds energy recovery solutions for the waste processing industry, where large storage halls are often used. Air that is exhausted in order to ventilate often still contains a lot of heat. Besides ventilation there are also many processes in the waste processing industry where residual heat is released, this can be warm air flows or even flue gases. But also water streams often contain a lot of residual heat. Air Solutions helps to consider how to re-use this residual heat in a useful way, making the entire process more efficient and saving energy and fossil fuel.
Air Solutions Holland has the following techniques in house:
- Twin-coil systems
- Rotor type of recovery systems
- Air/air heat exchangers
- Water/water heat exchangers
Energy recovery systems are designed for a customer specific application, and are also often eligible for a subsidy scheme. This scheme aims to stimulate entrepreneurs with fiscal investment schemes to invest in sustainable energy and energy saving techniques. The Dutch government offers a tax advantage when purchasing energy-efficient equipment.
- Capacities from 50 to 5,000 kW
- Air volumes from 10,000 to 150,000 m³/h
Energy recovery in combination with a heat pump often makes the complete energy management even more interesting, especially when cold and hot energy are required in the waste processing plant. The Air Solutions employees are therefore always ready to advise you, without any obligation, about which solution is most suitable for your situation.
